In my mind, a track record of unused gym memberships and a lifetime aversion to exercise did not make me the best candidate for personal training. In a gym setting, I would often compare and criticize myself while getting very little accomplished. With Lisa coming directly to my home, I am much more comfortable and focused. I can laugh at, and be gentle with, myself and my process. I am challenged, supported and motivated by her subtle reminders of how far I have progressed in one short year.
When we began working together, I had minor physical limitations. We worked slowly and incrementally on strengthening the small intrinsic muscles so that we would never overdo it therefore, preventing me from functioning in my daily life. I am now able to strengthen and tone larger muscle groups without residual pain or soreness. Lisa never shows up without a plan for my success. The effort she puts into prior to each session is apparent. However, one of Lisa’s greatest gifts, the one I appreciate most, is that while she arrives with a plan, she is always ready to adjust based on my particular needs for that day. When my energy levels fluctuate, she is always able to “read me” and change things up accordingly. This aspect is key for my continued success.

Glowing recommendation: I know Lisa personally (she's a bright shot of sunshine, optimism, motivation and knowledge), and I've worked with her as well. She's designed a home workout circuit for me that I can easily fit into my busy schedule that takes into account my "personal limitations" AKA - bad knees.
She's also advised me on nutrition, blood sugar stabilization, health optimization, etc. As you know, I've had a bout with cancer and I'm turning 40 this week, so my health is a top priority- Lisa specializes in fitness and nutrition optimization for women as our bodies age (gracefully, of course!) and comes to meet with you in your home (she's local in Peachtree Corners). Over the past 2 years, I have been working with a personal trainer (Lisa Culling) who comes to my home for an hour twice a week. I have benefited tremendously from seeing her. I not only have lost pounds and inches but I have more energy and understand how to both eat and exercise more effectively. Lisa is very committed to my health and well being and comes each time with an enthusiasm that makes me look forward to seeing her. I have used at least 3 personal trainers in my life and she is by far and away the best.
